GREENVILLE, Pa. (Feb. 11) -- Thiel College Baseball Head Coach Joe Schaly announced the Tomcat's 2026 schedule Wednesday afternoon. The Blue and Gold will will compete in 12 non-conference matches before opening up Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) play at Hiram.
The Tomcats begin their 2026 campaign with three home games, a Juniata double header (Feb. 28) and a single game against Pitt Greensburg (Mar. 2). before traveling down to Fort Pierce, Fla. to compete in eight non-conference games over spring break.
Thiel first will take on Lebanon Valley (Mar. 7), Monmouth (Mar. 8), Gettysburg (Mar.9) and Heidelberg (Mar. 10) before having a break on the 11.
The Tomcat's are back in action in Florida as they play a double header against Kenyon (Mar. 12), and single games vs. Lasell (Mar. 13) and Washington (Md.) (Mar. 14) before coming back north.
On March 18, the Blue and Gold will host La Roche before opening conference play at Hiram (Mar. 21).
Thiel will travel to University Heights, Ohio to play against Division III opponent John Carroll (Mar. 22), before coming home to take on Washington and Jefferson in a PAC doubleheader (Mar. 24).
Bethany will host the Tomcats on Mar. 28 before Thiel hosts a straight six games at Tomcat Park.
Mount Union (Mar. 29) and Penn State Shenango (Apr. 1) will come to Greenville before the Blue and Gold host conference opponents Chatham (Apr. 4) and Allegheny (Apr. 8). Thiel will also host Penn State Behrend on the 6th.
On April 11, Thiel will travel to Franciscan and will return to Tomcat Park to host Penn State Altoona (Apr. 12) and Geneva (Apr. 14).
The Tomcats will be on the road to take on the Bearcats of Saint Vincent on April 18 before hosting their final game at Tomcat Park against Westminster (Apr. 22).
Thiel will finish out the season on the road at Grove City (Apr. 25), Penn State DuBois (Apr. 26), and Waynesburg (May 2).
W&J will host the PAC Championship Tournament, where it will begin on May 6 and end with the championship on the 9th
Schaly enters his 26th season at the helm of the Thiel Baseball Program.
