GREENVILLE, PA. -- Thiel College Women's Lacrosse seniors Ashlyn Wightman (Pittsburgh, Pa./Shaler) and Madison Liggett (Baltimore, Md./Catholic) earned end of the year Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) accolades announced by the league office Thursday night.
For the second time in her career, Wightman earned PAC Midfielder of the Year and her fifth First Team All-Conference honor following her record-breaking season of 134 points, 113 goals, 118 draw controls and 75 ground balls.
Wightman broke her own record of points, goals and draw controls in a season, while also breaking the ground balls in a season record. She also topped the same four categories for career records.
She ranked first in the conference for points and goals while finishing second in all of Division III in goals and third in points.
Liggett earned PAC Goalkeeper of the Year and First Team All-Conference honors following her 184-save season to end her career with 527.
With her first save of the year, she became Thiel's top record holder for saves in a career.
She led the conference and was second in all of Division III with a .569 save percentage as she averaged 11.38 saves per game.
Thiel had a historic 6-0 start, went 11-5 overall and 5-4 in conference play in 2025. The Tomcats made their second postseason appearance in the past two years as Wightman went on to be named to the PAC All-Tournament Team.
