GREENVILLE, Pa. -- The Thiel College Men's Lacrosse team dropped their Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) match-up 19-7 against Franciscan University Wednesday afternoon in the Rissell-Schreyer Dome.

Thiel drops to 1-8 on the regular season and 0-2 in conference play, while the Barons advance to 3-6 overall and 1-2 in the PAC.

Goalkeeper Ethan Narby (Bath, N.Y./Haverling) had a record setting day making 30 saves off 49 shots on goal, becoming the second player at Thiel to make at least 30 in a game. Narby also picked up six ground balls.

Logan Millie (Fairview, Pa./Fairview) scored a quick first goal for the Tomcats to take the early 1-0 lead, followed by Quentin Cato (Rochester, N.Y./Gates Chili) seven minutes later to end the period 2-0.

Franciscan reacted fast in the second, scoring five unanswered goals to take the lead.

Thadd Bell (Erie, Pa./McDowell) scored the lone goal in the second quarter, and Zach Melin (Chardon, Ohio/Chardon) added two in the third, still trailing 14-5.
