GREENVILLE, Pa. -- The Thiel College Women's Lacrosse team dropped their Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) home contest 13-5 to the Chatham Cougars Wednesday night at Alumni Stadium.
Thiel drops to 10-3 on the season and 4-3 in the conference, while Chatham advances to 7-5 overall and 5-2 in the PAC.
Senior Ashlyn Wightman (Pittsburgh, Pa./Shaler) surpassed her own record of 110 points in a season last game at Allegheny and added five more tonight for a total of 116.
Wightman had four goals and an assist, along with six ground balls.
Chatham went on a six-goal rally after only leading at the half 5-3.
Freshman Jade Mazzoni (Greensburg, Pa./Greensburg Salem) tallied a man up goal in the first quarter, assisted by Wightman.
Goalkeeper Madison Liggett (Baltimore, Md./Catholic) had 16 saves on the night along with four ground balls.
The Tomcats are back in action on Tuesday, April 22 when they host the Franciscan Barons. The PAC contest is scheduled for 7 p.m. at Alumni Stadium.
