OBERLIN, Ohio – The Thiel College Women's Indoor Track and Field Team competed at the Dan Kinsey Invitational at Oberlin College, in Oberlin, Ohio Friday evening.  

The Thiel Tomcats faced off against Baldwin Wallace University, Oberlin College, Hiram College, Allegheny College, and Carlow University. 

Imogen deBlois (Hubbard, Ohio/Howland) took home a first-place finish in the 400-meter dash, as well as a 4th place finish in the 200m to lead the Tomcats.

• Lillianna Briscoe (Beaver Falls, Pa./Quigley Catholic) - 6th place, 3:20.68 

• Madalyn Semmler (Butler, Pa./Butler) - 11th place, 3:48.76

• Brooke Griffith (Chicora, Pa./Karns City) - 2nd place, 12:56.26 

High Jump 

• Stiers-Royal - tied for 1st place, 1.52m  

Long Jump 

• Alexis McFadden (Kennerdell, Pa./Franklin Area) - 4th place, 4.73m  

• Stiers-Royal - 5th place, 4.69m 

Triple Jump 

• McFadden - 3rd place, 9.85m  

Shot Put 

• Brooke Mottley (Rock Creek, Ohio/Geneva) - 15th place, 8.70m 

• Cydney Wierzbowski (Derry, Pa./Derry) - 18th place, 7.83m 

• Kaylee Bensink (Wattsburg, Pa./Seneca) - 20th place, 7.15m  

Weight Throw 

• Wierzbowski - 8th place, 10.96m 

• Mottley - 12th place, 9.76m  

• Bensink - 17th place, 4.91m

The Tomcats are back in action on February 14th, when they travel to Youngstown, Ohio to compete in the YSU Last Chance Meet.
