GREENVILLE, Pa. (Nov. 10) -- Thiel College Women's Basketball head coach
Jessica Vormelker '19 has been selected for the 55th class of the NCAA Women Coaches Academy (WCA), set to take place November 16-18, 2025, in Indianapolis.
WCA Class No. 55 features 78 women coaches from across NCAA Divisions I, II and III, as well as the NAIA and NJCAA. Vormelker, who was also selected for the 2023 NCAA Basketball Coaches Acaemy, is 1-of-3 Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) coaches selected for the class.
"To be considered amongst so many applicants and then selected as a participant of the NCAA Women Coaches Academy is truly a blessing and honor," Vormelker, who is entering her third season as Women's Basketball head coach, said. "I look forward to bettering myself holistically as a leader and returning to the Women's Basketball program at Thiel and using new tools. Hosted in collaboration with the NCAA, this impactful Academy offers a multi-day transformational experience focused on leadership development and personal growth for women coaches from all sports and collegiate levels, including both two-year and four-year institutions. Since its inception, more than 2,400 coaches have graduated from the NCAA WCA.
