Tomcats settled by Saxons

HOUGHTON, N.Y. (Oct. 24) -- The Thiel College Men's Tennis team was blanked 7-0 in its fall finale at Alfred University Friday evening from Kerr-Pegula Field House in non-conference action.

The Tomcats fall to 0-3 while the Saxons improve to 1-1.

Tyrus Horton () had a strong showing at No. 1 double but ultimately fell 6-4, 6-3. Bret Vilage (North Huntingdon, Pa./Norwin) fell 6-4, 6-1 at No. 2 singles.

The Horton/Vilage duo was bested 6-2 at No. 1 doubles.
