GREENVILLE, Pa. -- The Thiel Men's Soccer team took an exciting 3-2 victory over their Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) opponent Wednesday night from Alumni Stadium. 
The Tomcats picked up their first PAC win of the season to advance to 4-11-1 (1-7-1) as the Titans drop to 1-11-4 (1-5-3). 
Sophomore 
Mitchell Strauss (Bradford, Pa./Bradford Area) scored Thiel's thrilling 3-2 game winner in the 65th minute of the game off an assist from sophomore 
Giovanni Rossi Jr. (Hermitage, Pa./Hickory). 
Thiel was hot in the first 33 minutes of the first half and took the 2-0 lead off goals from Rossi Jr. and 
Derek Thomas (Poland, Ohio/Poland), assist from Strauss to Thomas. 
Westminster took charge in the beginning of the second half with two back-to-back goals in the 55th and 58th minute of the game to make the score 2-2. 
Micah Fortney (Palmyra, Pa./Mount Calvary Christian) led Thiel's offense with three shots, one of which was on goal. Four other Tomcats had chances on net including 
Alex Ciambella (East Amherst, N.Y./Williamsville North), 
Maxwell Kovacik (Slippery Rock, Pa./Slippery Rock Area), 
Pierson Badowski (Grove City, Pa./Grove City), and 
Andy Mangold (Bradford, Pa./Bradford Area). 
Goalkeeper 
Dylan Budziak (Mentor, Ohio/Mentor) was faced with 14 shots (10 on goal) and made a career high seven saves. 
The Tomcats are back in action on Saturday, October 25th as they host Allegheny for their last home match of the season.
