BETHANY, W. Va. -- The Thiel College Men's Soccer team dropped their final Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) match to Bethany College 3-1 Wednesday afternoon.
Thiel ends their season at 4-13-1 (1-9-1) as Bethany advances to 5-9-3 (4-6-1).
Sophomore
Andy Mangold (Bradford, Pa./Bradford Area) was assisted by
Mitchell Strauss (Bradford, Pa./Bradford Area) to score Thiel's lone goal in the first two minutes of the contest to put the Tomcats up 1-0.
The Bison responded in the 17th minute to tie the half at ones a piece.
Bethany came out hot in the second half with two quick goals to ultimately take the 3-1 lead.
The Tomcats took 13 shots and leading the offense was Strauss with four. Mangold had three shots, as

Dylan Budziak (Mentor, Ohio/Mentor) was faced with 22 shots and made eight saves.
