GREENVILLE, Pa. (October 16) -- Thiel College Wrestling Head Coach Craig Thurber announced the Tomcats' 2025-26 schedule Thursday morning. The Blue and Gold will do battle in two non-conference invitationals before hopping into Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) play for five matches of the season. The Tomcats will compete in three other invites before the PAC Championships in February.
Thiel will kick off their 2025-26 campaign on the road in Washington, Pa. as they compete at the Washington and Jefferson College Invitational on Saturday, Nov. 8.
The Tomcats are on the road for another invitational at Baldwin Wallace University on Saturday, Nov. 22.
The Blue and Gold open their PAC slate with a dual match at Hiram on Dec. 5. They remain on the road for another conference dual match at Saint Vincent on Jan. 15.
Thiel will host conference opponent Bethany College in their home opener on Thursday, Jan. 22.
The Tomcats are back on the road as they travel to Jamestown, N.Y. for the Jamestown CC Open (Jan. 24) and a dual match at W&J (Jan. 30).
Thiel comes back home for their final dual matches of the season against PAC opponent Waynesburg (Feb. 4) and non-conference opponent Lycoming College (Feb. 6).
The Blue and Gold travel back to Berea, Ohio for the 39th annual John Summa Invitational hosted by Baldwin Wallace for their final competition of the regular season.
Hiram will be hosting the PAC Championships on Saturday, Feb. 14. as the NCAA Regional IV's and the NCAA Championships are still to be determined.
Thurber enters his 23rd year at the helm of the Wrestling program. Last season, Thurber coached wrestler Joey King (Cooperstown, Pa./Maplewood) all the way to the NCAA Division III Regional 4 Championships where he placed 7th at 197 lbs.
