GREENVILLE, Pa. (October 15) -- Thiel College Women's Basketball Head Coach Jessica Vormelker '19 announced the Tomcats' 2025 schedule Wednesday morning. The Blue and Gold will do battle in eight non-conference affairs before jumping into Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) play for the final 16 matches of the season.  

Thiel will kick off their 2025-26 campaign on the road at Fredonia on Nov. 7 and Penn State Shenango on Nov. 12.  

The Tomcats will travel to Alfred State to compete in the Alfred State Tournament on Nov. 14 and 15. 

The Blue and Gold will remain on the road as the travel to Case Western Reserve (Nov. 22) and Buffalo State (Nov. 24) before opening PAC play at home against Hiram College on Dec. 3 for Faculty and Staff Appreciation Day. 

Thiel will close out December on the road against conference opponent Westminster (Dec. 6) and non-conference opponents Penn State Beaver (Dec. 8), Carlow (Dec. 16), and Mount Union (Dec. 30). 

After the break, the Tomcats return to Beeghly Gymnasium on Jan. 7 to open PAC play back up against Allegheny.  

Thiel will play six of their next conference games at home while seven will be on the road. They will host Geneva (Jan. 14), Franciscan (Jan. 24), Westminster (Jan. 28), Saint Vincent (Feb. 7) for Girls and Women in Sport Day and Washington and Jefferson on Feb. 14.  

Thiel closes the regular season on Feb. 21 at home against Grove City College for senior day. 

Vormelker enters her third season at the helm of the Women's Basketball program.
