GREENVILLE, Pa. (March 25) -- Thiel College Women's Basketball players Josie Lewis (Greenville, Pa./Greenville) and Jensen Stehlik (Sagamore Hills, Ohio/Nordonia) were named College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Tuesday.

The CSC Academic All-District program recognizes student-athletes that excel on the court and in the classroom. To be eligible for academic all-district status, a student-athlete must compete in 90 percent of the institution's games played or start in at least two-thirds of the team's games. An undergraduate student-athlete must have at least a 3.50 cumulative GPA.

Lewis is a sophomore pursuing a business administration degree with a finance concentration. She boasts a 4.0 GPA and is a member of Sigma Kappa, Lambda Sigma and Chi Eta Sigma as well as being a part of the Thiel Student Support Network and SAAC. Lewis also serves as Greenville Junior High School Sprints and Varsity Jumps Coach.

Lewis averaged 6.2 points, 3.3 boards and 2.3 assists while appearing in all 25 games this season, making 21 starts. She posted season bests in points (14) and assists (eight) against Wooster on Nov. 11. She also grabbed a career-high-tying eight rebounds against Franciscan on Feb. 1.

Stehlik is a sophomore exercise science major who also boasts a perfect 4.0 GPA. She is a member of the DHI Club and the Thiel Student Support Network. Stehlik is also a starter on the Tomcats' Softball team.

She appeared in 24 games and made 13 starts in the 2024-25 season. Stehlik tallied double-digit points on four occassions, including a season-best 17 points against Geneva on Jan. 22. She averaged 7.1 points, three rebounds and 1.2 assist on the season.
