GREENVILLE, Pa. -- The Thiel College Women's Basketball team dropped their Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) match-up to the Washington and Jefferson Presidents' 97-51 Wednesday evening.
Slippery Rock native Issy Green (Slippery Rock, Pa./Portersville Christian) had a team high 17-point game. Green dished out a game high four assists, grabbed three rebounds, and two steals. The freshman played a total of 30 minutes and went 7-12 from the field.
Freshman Kayley Risser (Reynoldsville, Pa./Dubois Central Catholic) added 14 points to the Tomcat score. Risser grabbed five boards and two assists. The Reynoldsville native had another perfect 4-4 from the free throw line.
Maddy Triskett (Orwell, Ohio/Berkshire) and Bria Ringloff (Jefferson Hills, Pa./Thomas Jefferson) grabbed a combined 13 rebounds, Triskett with a team high of seven and Ringloff with six.
Josie Lewis (Greenville, Pa./Greenville) put up 7 points and two rebounds, while Lyndzee Amory (Edinboro, Pa./Saegertown) picked up 5 points and three rebounds.
The Tomcats are back in action on Saturday, February 22nd when they travel to Waynesburg, Pa. for their final game of the season. The PAC contest will begin at 1:00 p.m., followed by the men's team at 3:00 p.m.
