NEW CASTLE, Pa – The Thiel College women's golf team finished fifth Saturday at the Westminster Invitational, which took place at Avalon at New Castle.

Thiel finished fifth with a score of 371. Westminster won the team title with a score of 333 while Wooster finished second (340).

Alaina Harpst (Greenville, Pa./Greenville) shot an 85 to tie for seventh. Kelsi Heffner (93) finished 20^th, while  Taylor Susany (Struthers, Ohio/Struthers) (94) finished 24th. Megan Bull (Hermitage, Pa./Hickory) shot a 99, finishing 27th while Emily Eutesy shot a 102.

Westminster's Mya Mrkonja and Geneva's Madison Sharek shot an 80 to tie for first place.

Thiel will compete in the Guy and Jeanne Kuhn Invitational, hosted by Allegheny College. The event is scheduled for Sunday, September 22 and Monday, September 23.
