WHEELING, W. Va. (April 9) -- The Thiel College Women's Golf team won the Bethany Spring Invitational Thursday at Oglebay Park as Emily Eutsey (Jones Mills, Pa./Mount Pleasant) earned medalist honors.

The Tomcats fired a round of 421, 43 strokes better than runners-up Waynesburg (464).

Eutsey fired a 97 en route to her first collegiate victory in the 12-player field.

Kelsi Hefner (Meadville, Pa./Meadville) earned runner-up honors with a 98.

Megan Bull (Hermitage, Pa./Hickory) placed seventh with a 107 while Grascen Reyburn (Franklin, Pa./Rocky Grove) was eighth with a 119.

Thiel is back in action Saturday for the Westminster Invitational at Avalon Field Club in New Castle.
