MEADVILLE, Pa. – The Thiel College women's volleyball team dropped a non-conference matchup to the Allegheny Gators, 3-0, on the road Friday afternoon.

Allegheny won in straight sets 25-17, 33-31, 25-16.

Thiel was led by Daisy Jenness (Pendleton, Ore./Pendleton) recorded nine kills and two blocks. Arin DeLattre (Greensburg, Pa./Hempfield) recorded five kills and four blocks. Carlie Reynolds (Grove City, Pa./Grove City Area) recorded 23 assists, while Danielle Aulet (Lawrence, Kansas/Mineral Ridge) recorded 21 digs.

Allegheny was led by Angelee Bawek who recorded 13 kills. Dagney Javes recorded 12 kills and one block, while Meagan Robare recorded 20 assists. Jacy Diaz recorded 28 digs and three service aces.

The Tomcats are back in action on Tuesday when they host Pitt Greensburg in the home opener. The non-conference game is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m.
