GREENVILLE, Pa. – The Thiel College men's soccer team lost a non-conference game to the Baldwin Wallace Yellow Jackets, 3-0, Wednesday night at Alumni Stadium.
Baldwin Wallace outshot Thiel 21-6, including 9-4 shots on goal.
Three first half goals within 10 minutes was all the Yellow Jackets needed to score to earn the win.
Thiel was led by
AJ Trobek (Hubbard, Ohio/Hubbard) who recorded three shots, including all three on target.
Mitchell Strauss (Bradford Pa./Bradford Area) recorded two shots, while
Hunter Blatt (Greenville, Pa./Greenville) recorded one shot.
Baldwin Wallace was led by Carter Stanaczyk who recorded one goal on five shots. Topher Garcia recorded one goal on three shots, while Jakob Young recorded the third goal.
In goal for the Tomcats,
Bryce Stefanowicz (Greenville, Pa./Greenville) recorded six saves.
For the Yellow Jackets, Seth Warrick got the start, making four saves and earning the clean sheet.
The Tomcats will head to La Roche on Saturday for a non-conference game. The match is scheduled to begin at 4 p.m.
