GREENVILLE, Pa. – The Thiel College women's lacrosse team lost a Presidents' Athletic Conference game Saturday to the Washington & Jefferson Presidents, 14-4.
Senior midfielder
Ashlyn Wightman (Pittsburgh, Pa./Shaler) became Thiel's career leader in goals (231) in the game, eclipsing Cassy Mahdi's record (229) which stood since 2015.
Wightman led the Tomcats Saturday with two goals and two assists (4 points).
Briney Stilinovich (Long Beach, Calif./Los Alamitos) also scored two goals.
Anna Kloehn led the Presidents with three goals.
Madison Liggett (Baltimore, Md./Catholic) made eight saves for Thiel. Kaitlyn Brown made six saves for W&J.
Thiel (5-4, 1-2 PAC) will face the Franciscan Barons (1-7, 1-2 PAC) on the road Wednesday. The PAC game will start at 4 p.m.
