GREENVILLE, Pa. – Seniors
Katie Aaron (Lehighton, Pa./Lehighton Area),
Mary Cassano (Fairview, Pa./McDowell),
Bailey Fritz (Mineral Ridge, Ohio/Austintown Fitch) and
Emili Scavitto (Gettysburg, Pa./Gettysburg) each scored a goal Saturday in the Thiel College women's lacrosse team's 21-1 Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) win over the Saint Vincent Bearcats at Alumni Stadium.
All four Tomcat seniors were honored prior to Saturday's game.
Ashlyn Wightman (Pittsburgh, Pa./Shaler) recorded game-highs in draw controls (17), points (9), goals (6) and assists (3). Cassano scored three goals while
Jocelyn Denihan (Conneautville, Pa/Conneaut Area) tallied three points (2G, 1A).
Madison Liggett (Baltimore, Md./Catholic) made five saves to pick up her eighth win of the season. She also picked up four ground balls and caused three turnovers. Kyra Lipetzky made 10 saves for the Bearcats.
The Tomcats (8-5, 4-3 PAC) will face the Chatham Cougars (7-7, 4-3 PAC) on the road Wednesday in a pivotal league game. The contest is scheduled to start at 7 p.m.
