MEADVILLE, Pa. – The Thiel College softball team lost a pair of Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) games on the road Sunday to the Allegheny Gators. Allegheny won 15-0 in Game 1 and 7-4 in Game 2.

Thiel took a 3-0 lead in the first inning. Third baseman
Abby Rottman (Hilliards, Pa./Moniteau) drove in the first run on a double to center field. Freshman catcher
Marsha Foreman (Bonita Springs, Fla./Bonita Springs) followed with her first home run with the Tomcats, a 2-run blast over the left field fence.
The Tomcats added a run in the fourth inning on
Makenna Oswalt's (Johnstown, Pa./Westmont Hilltop) RBI-single to right field.
Allegheny refused to give up another run the rest of the way and scored seven runs in the fourth and fifth innings to secure the sweep.
Rottman went 2-for-4 with a double, an RBI and one run scored. Foreman also went 2-for-4 with a home run, two RBIs and a run scored.
Sophia Householder (Conneaut, Ohio/Conneaut) doubled.
Game 1: Allegheny 15, Thiel 0
Aleya Belardinelli threw a no-hitter and struck out nine batters in Allegheny's 15-0 win.
The Tomcats (10-18, 5-7 PAC) will host the Geneva Golden Tornadoes (12-12, 6-4 PAC) Tuesday at Tomcat Park. The first game of the PAC doubleheader is set to begin at 3:30 p.m.
