GREENVILLE, Pa. – The Thiel College men's soccer team dropped a Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) game to the Grove City Wolverines, 6-0, at Alumni Stadium Saturday afternoon.
The game was scoreless heading into the halftime break.
Six second half goals by the Wolverines finished out the game.
Thiel was led by
Hunter Blatt (Greenville, Pa./Greenville) who recorded two shots.
Mitchell Strauss (Bradford Pa./Bradford Area) and
Neko Hatton (Bryans Road, Md./Henry E. Lackey) recorded one shot on goal apiece.
For Grove City, Aidan Eck notched two goals, while Noah Gray recorded a goal.
In goal for Thiel,
Bryce Stefanowicz (Greenville, Pa./Greenville) recorded 10 saves.
In net for Grove City, Teddy Almeter started in goal, making two saves. Anthony D'Ippolito played the final 9:35.
The Tomcats will host the Waynesburg Yellow Jackets on Wednesday. The PAC game is slated to begin at 7:30 p.m.
