GROVE CITY, Pa. – The Thiel College women's volleyball team defeated the Grove City Wolverines in a Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) match, 3-1, on the road inside Grove City College Arena Saturday afternoon.

The Tomcats took the first set, 34-32, before Grove City took the second set 25-19 to even up the match. The Tomcats took the next two sets 25-20, 26-24 to take the conference match.

Thiel was led by Erica Gregory (Clinton Township, Mich./Fraser), who recorded her seventh double-double of the season with 12 kills and 23 digs. Daisy Jenness (Pendleton, Ore./Pendleton) notched 25 kills, while Kelly Peplowski (Hubbard, Ohio/Ursuline) recorded five blocks. Carlie Reynolds (Grove City, Pa./Grove City Area) added 47 assists and 17 digs, while Danielle Aulet (Lawrence, Kansas/Mineral Ridge) recorded a game-high 24 digs. Jazmyn Stevens (Mantua, Ohio/Crestwood) added three service aces.

Grove City was led by Lily Lagaras who recorded 12 kills and 15 digs. Julia Fisher recorded 22 digs, while Kennedy Kerr recorded 22 assists. Kendra Klusch added eight blocks.

The Tomcats will head to Saint Vincent on Wednesday for a PAC matchup. The conference match is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m.
