BEAVER FALLS, Pa. – The Thiel College men's soccer team lost a Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) game on the road to the Geneva Golden Tornadoes, 2-0, Saturday night at Reeves Field.
Geneva scored in the 30
th minute to go into halftime up 1-0.
Geneva added a second half goal, virtue of a Tomcat own goal, to round out the scoring.
Geneva was led by Wil Dunda, who recorded one goal on five shots. Kyle Lapoure recorded four shots for the Golden Tornadoes.
Thiel was led by
Evan Young (Suitland, Md./Henry E. Lackey) who recorded three shots, including all three shots on goal.
Trey Grazier (Pittsburgh, Pa./Shaler) also recorded a shot on goal.
In goal,
Bryce Stefanowicz (Greenville, Pa./Greenville) recorded one save. His counterpart, Evan Shale, recorded four saves and a shutout.
Thiel is back in action on Tuesday when they welcome the Franciscan Barons to Alumni Stadium. The PAC game is scheduled to begin at 7:30 p.m.
