ERIE, Pa. – The Thiel College women's volleyball team lost a non-conference game on the road to the Penn-State Behrend Lions, 3-1, Tuesday night.
Penn-State Behrend won 3-1 by set scores of 25-13, 22-25, 25-20, 25-22.
Erica Gregory (Clinton Township, Mich./Fraser) led the Tomcats with 16 kills.
Arin DeLattre (Greensburg, Pa./Hempfield) recorded 10 kills, while Kylle Jordan tallied nine kills. DeLattre also recorded two service aces, while
Carlie Reynolds (Grove City, Pa./Grove City Area) led the team with three service aces.
Taegan Geiser (Holmesville, Ohio/Waynedale) led the Tomcats with 35 assists.
Defensively, Reynolds led the team with 12 digs. Geiser recorded 10 digs, while
Daisy Jenness (Pendleton, Ore./Pendleton) recorded 11 digs.
Hannah Phillips led Penn-State Behrend with 20 kills, while Breana Reynolds recorded 15 kills.
Meg Goodsel recorded a game-high 49 assists, while Sara Nobach led with 22 digs.
The Tomcats are back in action on Thursday when they travel to Geneva. The non-conference game is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m.
