BEAVER FALLS, Pa. – The Thiel College women's volleyball team lost a non-conference game on the road to the Geneva Golden Tornadoes, 3-0, Thursday night.
Geneva won in straight sets 25-16, 25-14, 25-18.
Daisy Jenness (Pendleton, Ore./Pendleton) led the Tomcats with 10 kills. Freshman
Arin DeLattre (Greensburg, Pa./Hempfield) recorded seven kills, while
Erica Gregory (Clinton Township, Mich./Fraser) recorded two kills and seven digs.
Taegan Geiser (Holmesville, Ohio/Waynedale) led the Tomcats with 19 assists and nine digs, while
Carlie Reynolds (Grove City, Pa./Grove City Area) recorded eight digs and one service ace.
Kami Mummau led Geneva with 10 kills and eight digs, while Samantha Peachey led the team with 23 assists.
The Tomcats are back in action on Tuesday when they travel to Chatham for a non-conference matchup. The match is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m.
