GREENVILLE, Pa. – The Thiel College men's lacrosse team lost a non-conference game Wednesday night to the Malone Pioneers at the Rissell-Schreyer Dome, 21-9.
Bennett Medyn (Macedon, N.Y./Palmyra Macedon) paced Thiel with six points (5G, 1A) while
Chase Lawler (Etters, Pa./Red Land) recorded five points (2G, 3A).
Alex Andreozzi (Lebanon, Pa./Cedar Crest) caused four turnovers and picked up five ground balls while
Matt Edlinger (Pittsburgh, Pa./North Hills) won eight faceoffs, picked up three ground balls and caused a pair of turnovers.
Talon Heath led the Pioneers with 11 points (8G, 3A). Micah Pennington won 21 faceoffs and picked up 15 ground balls.
Jason Masciantonio (Wernersville, Pa./Conrad Weiser) made 20 saves for Thiel while Phillip Bell made 14 saves for Malone.
The Tomcats will host the Hiram Terriers Saturday at the Rissell-Schreyer Dome. The non-conference game will begin at noon.
