GREENVILLE, Pa. – The Thiel College women's lacrosse team opened its 2023 season Saturday with a 19-9 non-conference win over the Mount Aloysius Mounties at the Rissell-Schreyer Dome.

Thiel led 8-1 at the end of the first quarter and never looked back. Ashlyn Wightman (Pittsburgh, Pa./Shaler) scored three goals in the first quarter while Camy Seman (Conneautville, Pa./Conneaut Area) and Destiny Johnson (Baltimore, Md./Western) netted two goals apiece.
