GREENVILLE, Pa. – The Thiel College men's soccer team earned a Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) draw on the road against the Grove City Wolverines, 0-0, Wednesday night at Don Lyle Field.
This is the first time since 2007 that the Tomcats have earned a result (win or draw) against the Wolverines.
The Wolverines led in shots and shots on goal with 19 and 6, respectively. The Tomcats recorded eights shots with one on target.
For the Tomcats, goalkeeper
Nick Kristian (Aliquippa, Pa./Hopewell) tallied six saves in his first clean sheet of the season. Freshman
Trey Grazier (Pittsburgh, Pa./Shaler) recorded two shots, including the Tomcats only shot on goal.
Aiden Davis (Poland, Ohio/Poland) recorded two shots, while
William Donaldson (Johnston, Ohio/Badger) also recorded two shots.
For the Wolverines, Teddy Almeter recorded one save. Aidan Eck recorded two shots, including two on goal. Matt Herrmann and John-Luc Harbour each tallied three shots.
The Tomcats return to Alumni Stadium on Saturday against Chatham for senior day. The PAC game is scheduled to begin at 2:30 p.m.
