BETHANY, W.V. – The Thiel College men's soccer team lost a Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) game on the road to the Bethany Bison, 4-0, Wednesday afternoon at Bison Stadium.
It took the Bison just three minutes to get the lead. They would never look back.
Bethany would add three second half goals in a five-minute span to round out the scoring.
Thiel was led by
Jack Springer (Badger, Ohio/Burghill) who recorded three shots.
AJ Trobek (Hubbard, Ohio/Hubbard) recorded two shots, while
Grant Becker (North Olmsted, Ohio/North Olmsted) and
Aiden Davis (Poland, Ohio/Poland) each recorded a shot on goal.
In goal, freshman
Bryce Stefanowicz (Greenville, Pa./Greenville) recorded seven saves for the Tomcats.
Bethany was led by Taivier Stewart who recorded one goal and one assist. Michilo Reggies, Pedro Chillemi and Ian Stempler each recorded a goal.
In goal for Bethany, Matteo Pintus notched two saves.
The Tomcats return to Alumni Stadium for a PAC showdown with the Westminster Titans. The conference game is scheduled to begin at 2:30 p.m.
