LATROBE, Pa. – The Thiel College men's soccer team earned a 0-0 Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) draw on the road against the Saint Vincent Bearcats Tuesday night at UPMC Field.
The Bearcats outshot the Tomcats 19-10, including 7-4 shots on goal.
For the Tomcats, this is their second straight clean-sheet on the road, the first time that has been done since 2018.
For the Tomcats,
Trey Grazier (Pittsburgh, Pa./Shaler) and
Evan Young (Suitland, Md./Henry E. Lackey) both recorded two shots.
Grant Becker (North Olmsted, Ohio/North Olmsted),
AJ Trobek (Hubbard, Ohio/Hubbard),
Jack Springer (Badger, Ohio/Burghill) and
Logan Gordon (Hermitage, Pa./Hickory) all recorded a shot on goal.
For the Bearcats, Kelvin Aguilar-Contreras recorded four shots, including two on goal. Jose Hurtado also recorded four shots.
In net, freshman
Bryce Stefanowicz (Greenville, Pa./Greenville) recorded seven saves in his first collegiate shutout. His counterpart for the Bearcats, Kameron Rock, recorded four saves.
The Tomcats are idle this weekend, before traveling to Bethany for a PAC matchup next Wednesday. The conference game is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m.
