MEADVILLE, Pa. – The Thiel College women's volleyball team lost 3-0 on the road to the Allegheny Gators Thursday night.
 
The Gators won in straight sets 25-22, 25-16, 25-14.
 
Maria Torres (Boardman, Ohio/Boardman) led the Tomcats with a match-best 10 kills to go along with five digs. Brooke Talbot (Calcutta, Ohio/Beaver Local) and Danielle Aulet (Lawrence, Kansas/Mineral Ridge) also recorded match-bests with 25 assists and 21 digs, respectively. Kylee Eaton (Parker, Pa./AC Valley) and Cassandra Bown (Broadalbin, N.Y./Broadalbin-Perth) contributed five and four kills, respectively.
 
Emma Chambers led the Gators with nine kills. Cheyenne Wilson registered nine digs and eight kills.
 
The Tomcats will host the Franciscan Barons Saturday. The Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) match will begin at 1 p.m.
