GREENVILLE, Pa. – The Thiel College women's lacrosse team defeated the La Roche Lady Redhawks in a non-conference game Wednesday evening at the Rissell-Schreyer Dome, 24-0.
Ashlyn Wightman (Pittsburgh, Pa./Shaler) and
Camy Seman (Conneautville, Pa./Conneaut Area) led the Tomcats with seven goals apiece, tying them for the seventh-most goals scored in a single game in program history.
Ashlyn Wightman (Pittsburgh, Pa./Shaler) also recorded 10 draw controls, four ground balls and two caused turnovers. Seman tallied three ground balls, three caused turnovers and one draw control.
Maddy Wightman (Pittsburgh, Pa./Shaler) and
Destiny Johnson (Baltimore, Md./Western) both scored four goals and added an assist.

Madison Liggett (Baltimore, Md./Catholic) made three saves to win in a shutout. Tara Lasher made eight saves for La Roche.
Thiel (1-1) will host the Medaille Mavericks (2-3) on Saturday at the Rissell-Schreyer Dome. The non-conference game will begin at 1 p.m.
