MEADVILLE, Pa. – The Thiel College men's basketball team lost a Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) game to the Allegheny Gators, 84-70, Saturday afternoon.

Ahmad Tejumola (Waldorf, Md./Saint Charles) became just the 11
th player in program history to surpass the 1,000-point plateau when he scored the opening layup for the Tomcats just over a minute into the game.
Allegheny opened up a 10-point lead midway through the first half and would not look back. The Gators held a 50-27 at halftime.
For the Tomcats, Tejumola paced the Tomcats with another double-double, recording 16 points and 11 rebounds. Sophomore
Ethan Barnes (Boynton Beach, Fla./Suncoast) recorded 12 points and seven rebounds. Junior
Marlon Ellerbee (Temple Hills, Md./Oxon Hill) recorded 11 points, while junior
Rayshod Hooper (Baltimore, Md./St. Frances Academy) recorded nine points and 11 rebounds. Freshman
Elijah Harden (Sharon, Pa./Kennedy Catholic) recorded a career-high 16 points.
For the Gators, Ryan Lang recorded a game-high 29 points, while Andre Wilder recorded a double-double with 22 points and a game-high 13 rebounds. Caden Hinckley recorded 11 points.
The Tomcats are back in action on Tuesday when they travel to Franciscan for a PAC matchup. Tip-off is set for 6 p.m.
