BEAVER FALLS, Pa. – The Thiel College women's volleyball team lost a Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) match on the road Tuesday to the Geneva Golden Tornadoes, 3-0.
 
Geneva won by set scores of 25-11, 25-17, 25-21.
 
Freshman outside hitter Maria Torres (Boardman, Ohio/Boardman) led the Tomcats with 13 digs and 11 kills. Abby Triskett (Orwell, Ohio/Grand Valley) recorded 14 digs while Kylee Eaton (Parker, Pa./AC Valley) tallied seven kills. Danielle Aulet (Austintown, Ohio/Mineral Ridge) handed out 24 assists while registering eight digs.
 
Calyn Schmidt led Geneva with 11 kills and seven digs. Samantha Peachey recorded 28 assists and 12 digs.
 
The Tomcats will host the Bethany Bison Thursday at Beeghly Gymnasium. The PAC match will begin at 7 p.m.
