GREENVILLE, Pa. – The Thiel College women's volleyball team lost a Presidents' Athletic Conference match 3-0 Thursday to the Bethany Bison at Beeghly Gymnasium.
 
Bethany won by set scores of 25-23, 25-13, 25-20.
 
Maria Torres (Boardman, Ohio/Boardman) led all players with a match-best 15 kills while also contributing seven digs. Katie Stamp (Boardman, Ohio/Boardman) tallied eight kills while Raquel McDonald (Syracuse, N.Y./Bishop Grimes) notched five kills. Danielle Aulet (Austintown, Ohio/Mineral Ridge) recorded 30 assists and six digs while Abby Triskett (Orwell, Ohio/Grand Valley) led the Tomcats with 11 digs.
 
Destiny Goodnight and Jess Moore led the Bison with 12 and 10 kills, respectively. Alaina Torres handed out 39 assists while Asia Crim tallied 15 digs.
 
Thiel will take part in a tri-match at Waynesburg on Saturday. The Tomcats will face the Waynesburg Yellow Jackets at 11 a.m. and the Saint Vincent Bearcats at 1 p.m.
