Tomcats face Wolverines

GROVE CITY, Pa. – The Thiel College softball team lost two Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) games to the Grove City Wolverines on the road Thursday.
 
Grove City won both games, 8-0.
 
Riley Ladd (Mineral Ridge, Ohio/Mineral Ridge) led the Tomcats at the plate with a double in the first game while Kylee Yothers (Indian Head, Pa./Connellsville Area) and Kayla Roddy (Cincinnati, Ohio/Oak Hills) both singled.
 
Casey Buechel (Allison Park, Pa./Deer Lakes) and Ashtin Kirkwood (Elderton, Pa./West Shamokin) both doubled in the second game. Mary Proper (Meadville, Pa./Maplewood) recorded a single.
 
The Tomcats will face the Westminster Titans on the road Saturday. The first game of the PAC doubleheader is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m.
