Raab tallies 100th career point against Bearcats

LATROBE, Pa. – The Thiel College men's lacrosse team lost a Presidents' Athletic Conference. (PAC) game on the road against the Saint Vincent Bearcats on Saturday, 13-4.
 
Attacker JJ Raab (Butler, Pa./Butler) tallied his 100th career point with the Tomcats on a goal with 4:28 remaining in the fourth quarter. The eighth player in program history to reach the 100-point plateau, Raab recorded two 40-point seasons during his career (2018, 2019).
 
The Bearcats opened up a 5-0 lead Saturday and never looked back en route to their eighth win of the season. Jordan Billet and Jacob Visalli led Saint Vincent with four goals and one assist apiece.
 
Pat Hartnett (Cortland, N.Y./Cortland) led Thiel with two goals while Jeffrey Karnoff (Ringoes, N.J./Hunterdon Central) notched two points (1G, 1A). Dylan Waskiewicz (York, Pa./Red Lion) won 10 faceoffs and picked up seven ground balls.
 
Jason Masciantonio (Wernersville, Pa./Conrad Weiser) made 16 saves for Thiel. Caleb Bouch earned the win with six saves.
 
The Tomcats will take on the Franciscan Barons on the road Wednesday. The PAC game is scheduled to start at 7 p.m.
