Tomcats open season with win over Bison

BETHANY, W.Va. – The Thiel College men's lacrosse team opened the season with an 11-10 win on the road over the Bethany Bison Tuesday.

The Tomcats earned the win in the third quarter when they outscored the Bison, 4-1. The Tomcats scored their four goals consecutively in the third. Bennett Medyn (Macedon, N.Y./Palmyra Macedon) scored the first goal during the stretch at the 9:45 mark and the fourth goal of the stretch at the 8:18 mark. Dan Senisi (McDonald, Pa./South Fayette) and Sheldon Bourdeau (Clarkston, Mich./Clarkston) scored the other two goals.
