BETHANY, W.Va. – The Thiel College softball team lost two non-conference games to the Bethany Bison on the road Wednesday. Bethany won the first game 8-0 before winning 7-0 in the second game.
Ali Arter (Johnstown, Ohio/Johnstown-Monroe) led the Tomcats at the plate in the first game with a pair of singles.
Kylee Yothers (Indian Head, Pa./Connellsville Area) doubled in the second game while Arter,
Shay Tresler (Fairview, Pa./Fairview),
Casey Buechel (Allison Park, Pa./Deer Lakes) and
Melina Bufalini (Aliquippa, Pa./Hopewell) each singled.
The Tomcats are scheduled to play the Geneva Golden Tornadoes on the road Saturday. The first game of the non-conference doubleheader will begin at 11 a.m.
