GREENVILLE, Pa. – The Thiel College women's volleyball team swept the Franciscan Lady Barons 3-0 Tuesday at Beeghly Gymnasium.
 
Thiel won by set scores of 25-20, 25-10 and 25-18.
 
Kylee Eaton (Parker, Pa./AC Valley) led the Tomcats with a match-best 10 kills while also recording 10 digs and three blocks. Jordyn Liedike (Anchorage, Alaska/Grace Christian) and Madi Yurich (Harmony, Pa./Seneca Valley) notched seven kills apiece while Abby Triskett (Orwell, Ohio/Grand Valley) contributed 17 digs.
 
Thiel setter Courtney Grubbs (Freeport, Pa./Freeport) notched a game-high 30 assists to go along with 10 digs and four kills while Gianna Militi (Syracuse, N.Y./Westhill) registered 10 digs. Raquel McDonald (Syracuse, N.Y./Bishop Grimes) chipped in with five kills, three blocks and three digs.
 
Margaret Butters paced Franciscan with six kills while Lauren Betar tallied a match-high 20 digs.
 
Thiel improved to 2-0 on the season with the win. It was the team's second 3-0 victory in three days.
 
The Tomcats will face the Grove City Wolverines on the road Saturday at noon.
