ERIE, Pa. – The Thiel College men's volleyball team lost a non-conference match Wednesday on the road to the Penn State Behrend Lions, 3-0.
 
The Lions won in straight sets 25-10, 25-16, 25-15.
 
Zac Smith (Pittsburgh, Pa./Keystone Oaks) and Jonathan Burkley (Waterford, Pa./Fort LeBoeuf) led the Tomcats with seven kills apiece. Nick Koorsen (Glenshaw, Pa./Shaler Area) recorded 16 assists.
 
Logan Hering led PSU Behrend with 12 kills. Alex Jackson and Diego Ortiz handed out 14 and 13 assists, respectively.
 
The Tomcats will host the Lions next Wednesday, March 17 at Beeghly Gymnasium. The Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) match is slated to begin at 7 p.m.
