BETHANY, W.Va. – The Thiel College men's soccer team was defeated, 1-0, by the Bethany Bison is a Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) showdown on Saturday.
 
The lone goal of the game came at the 21:57 mark off the foot of Pedro Chillemi from the Bison. Both teams were held scoreless the rest of the match.
 
For the Tomcats, goalkeeper Devin Weisbarth (Akron, Ohio/Norton) recorded nine saves and allowed just one goal. Chase Yopp (New Brighton, Pa./New Brighton) and Owen Collwell (East Brady, Pa./Karns City) each notched a shot on goal.
 
For the Bison, Chillemi's goal was assisted by Jahzinho O'Garro. Goalkeeper Matteo Pintus recorded a shutout with two saves.
 
The Tomcats will be back at home Tuesday to take on the Washington & Jefferson Presidents at 7 p.m.
