Walters was named the interim head coach of the program on Oct. 8, 2020. He served as the assistant coach for the team during the 2019 season.
"I am excited and looking forward to helping grow the culture that we have built at Thiel," Walters said. "I hope to lead a program where our student-athletes strive for excellence on and off the field. Our goal is for them to leave their mark during their four years. If they can look back with pride on their growth and accomplishments, then I will consider that a success."
