MARIETTA, Ohio – The Thiel College women's lacrosse team lost a non-conference game on the road Wednesday to the Marietta Pioneers, 19-5.
 
Mackenzie Quinn (Carnegie, Pa./Chartiers Valley) led the Tomcats with four goals. She also recorded five draw controls. Alex Geraci (Garrettsville, Ohio/Crestwood) also scored a goal. Mercyne Demma (Pittsburgh, Pa./Mount Lebanon) caused two turnovers and picked up two ground balls.
 
Mackenzie Dyott led Marietta with five goals.
 
Emily Ramous (Bridgeville, Pa./Chartiers Valley) made 15 saves for the Tomcats. Maddie Leers and Lauren Redfern combined to make eight saves for the Pioneers.
 
The Tomcats will host the Houghton Highlanders Saturday at the Rissell-Schreyer Dome. The non-conference game will begin at 1 p.m.
