GREENVILLE, Pa. – The Thiel College men's soccer team lost a 2-0 Presidents' Athletic Conference game to the Grove City Wolverines on Friday.
After playing to a scoreless first half, Grove City would score both of their goals less than six minutes a part in the second half.
Luke Lindeman (Lakewood, N.Y./Southwestern Central) registered the only shot on goal in the loss. Bradley Novak (Wellington, Ohio/Keystone), Christopher Felger (New Castle, Pa./Mohawk) and Andreas Hauge Jonassen (Stavanger, Nor/) would all take shots in an attempt to get on the board for the Tomcats.
Defensively, Devin Weisbarth (Akron, Ohio/Norton) hauled in eight saves in net.
The Tomcats are back in action next Saturday, Oct. 5th when they travel to take on the Geneva Golden Tornadoes. Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m.
