GREENVILLE, Pa. – The Thiel College women's volleyball team lost a Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) match to the Geneva Golden Tornadoes Wednesday night at Beeghly Gymnasium, 3-0.
 
Thiel lost all three sets by scores of 25-21.
 
Rebecca Dougherty (New Bethlehem, Pa./Redbank) led the Tomcats with 10 kills. Natalie Zucco (Cleveland, Ohio/North Royalton) recorded 17 digs while Taylor Williams (Tuscarawas, Ohio/Indian Valley) and Alexis Orton (North East, Pa./North East) tallied 10 digs apiece. Courtney Grubbs (Freeport, Pa./Freeport) notched 28 assists.
 
Daphne Hunsinger led Geneva with 25 assists and 11 kills. Kayla Coughlin chipped in with 16 digs.
 
The Tomcats will be back in action Tuesday, Sept. 24 when they take on the Chatham Cougars on the road. The game is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m.
