PITTSBURGH – The Thiel College women's volleyball team lost a Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) match on the road Tuesday to the Chatham Cougars, 3-0.
The Tomcats lost in straight sets 25-14, 25-23, 25-16.
Courtney Grubbs (Freeport, Pa./Freeport) led Thiel with 22 assists and 11 digs.
Taylor Williams (Tuscarawas, Ohio/Indian Valley) tallied 11 digs while
Natalie Zucco (Cleveland, Ohio/North Royalton) and
Raquel McDonald (Syracuse, N.Y./Bishop Grimes) record eight and seven kills, respectively.
Chatham's Shaelah Pepperman handed out 20 assists while Rylee Ritko came up with 14 digs. Brooke Petrillo recorded seven kills.
The Tomcats will take on the Grove City Wolverines on the road Thursday. The PAC match will begin at 7 p.m.
