GREENVILLE, Pa. – The Thiel College women's lacrosse team lost a Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) game to the Westminster Titans Friday evening at Alumni Stadium, 26-14.
 
Paige Scherer (Cranberry, Pa./Seneca Valley) paced the Tomcats with six points (4G, 2A) while Mackenzie Quinn (Carnegie, Pa./Chartiers Valley) and Destiny Johnson (Baltimore, Md./Western ) each scored three goals and added an assist. Scherer also led Thiel with seven draw controls while Quinn picked up four ground balls.
 
Westminster's Margo Mason tallied game-highs in goals (9), assists (4), points (13) and draw controls (16).
 
Emily Ramous (Bridgeville, Pa./Chartiers Valley) made 13 saves for Thiel. Emma Bradley made eight saves for Westminster.
 
The Tomcats (6-5, 1-1 PAC) will return to action Tuesday when they face the Franciscan Barons on the road. The PAC game is scheduled to start at 5 p.m.
