HUNTINGDON, Pa. – The Thiel College women's lacrosse team suffered a 15-3 non-conference loss on the road Monday to the Juniata Eagles.
Juniata opened up a 5-0 lead Monday and never looked back en route to the non-conference win.
Paige Scherer (Cranberry, Pa./Seneca Valley) paced the Tomcats with two goals. Talia Bertrando led the Eagles with eight goals and an assist for a nine-point game.
Emily Ramous (Bridgeville, Pa./Chartiers Valley) made 15 saves for Thiel while Isabella Medaris made three saves for Juniata.
Thiel (2-2) will host the Hiram Terriers Wednesday at the Rissell-Schreyer Dome. The non-conference game is scheduled to begin at noon.
