GREENVILLE, Pa. – The Thiel College women's lacrosse team suffered a 19-2 non-conference loss to the Allegheny Gators Wednesday at the Rissell-Schreyer Dome.
 
Paige Scherer (Cranberry, Pa./Seneca Valley) and Mackenzie Quinn (Carnegie, Pa./Chartiers Valley) paced the Tomcats with one goal apiece.
 
Sarah Basden led the Gators with nine points (1G, 8A) while Brenna Lawler scored five goals.
 
Emily Ramous (Bridgeville, Pa./Chartiers Valley) made six saves for Thiel.
 
The Tomcats (1-1) will host the Alfred Saxons Saturday at the Rissell-Schreyer Dome. The non-conference game is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m.
